We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Regional Property Manager to oversee multifamily residential assets across British Columbia. As part of a newly established property management division within our organization, this role is a key leadership opportunity for a driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
The successful candidate will oversee multiple residential properties within our portfolio, ensuring operational excellence, strong financial performance, high resident satisfaction, and compliance with all applicable regulations. This role requires a strategic leader with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with extensive experience in residential property management within B.C.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of multiple residential property sites to ensure efficient performance and high resident satisfaction
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures aligned with company standards and objectives
- Manage leasing activities including tenant screening, lease negotiations, renewals, and occupancy strategies
- Maintain accurate records using Yardi or comparable property management software
- Coordinate maintenance and repair activities through vendors and onsite teams, including work order tracking through CMMS systems
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance
- Lead, mentor, and support onsite staff through training, coaching, and performance management
- Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution professionally and efficiently
- Prepare and present reports related to occupancy, budgeting, maintenance, and overall property performance
- Manage administrative tasks including data entry, filing, documentation, and record keeping
- Foster strong tenant relationships to support resident retention and customer satisfaction
- Negotiate lease agreements and vendor contracts while maintaining quality standards and cost efficiency
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 10 years of residential property management experience in British Columbia
- Proven experience managing multifamily residential assets across multiple sites
- Strong working knowledge of Yardi or similar property management platforms
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills
- Strong understanding of residential tenancy regulations and compliance requirements in B.C.
- Demonstrated experience in leasing, tenant relations, and vendor management
- Excellent communication skills, including professional written and verbal correspondence
- Strong administrative and reporting capabilities with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively in a dynamic environment
- Customer-service driven mindset with a focus on long-term resident relationships
