Our team has 25 years experience working with clients to acquire high-quality, brand-new, cash flowing investment properties in high-growth markets.

We have assembled one of the finest teams of passionate real estate professionals. The completeness of our in-house skill set means we control the entire process from evaluating and identifying potential high-growth markets, to designing, building and even selling the final quality homes. Our current focus is in Northeast British Columbia where we are one of the largest residential developers in Fort St. John and Dawson Creek. The WCPG Armchair Program is a unique real estate investment opportunity to purchase cash-flow positive properties in North America’s hottest real estate market. Our management team has completed over 85 projects across North America assisting our clients in acquiring over 10,000 properties valued at over $1,000,000,000 in real estate.

Meet The WCPG Team

David-Steele-WCPG

David Steele

CEO

Dave Steele has been the CEO of the Western Canadian Properties Group of companies since its inception and a part of the industry for over 30 years. During this time, he has managed teams that have actively developed and renovated over 100 projects comprising of more than 12,000 properties in British Columbia, Alberta, and the Western United States. Dave has been actively involved in the growth of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), a non-profit organization that currently has over 11,000 members worldwide. From 1993-1994, he served as EO’s International President.

Dave will provide guidance to the WCPG team and manage the company’s operations, ensuring the right people are in place to maintain seamless operations. His vision and oversight are ultimately responsible for ensuring our success.

Jim Ferrie

COO

James Ferrie oversees development and construction for Western Canadian Properties Group. James came to us from James Alexander Construction (JAC), specializing in commercial building. As President of JAC, James oversaw and completed many projects including the construction and renovation of municipal buildings, ice arenas and distribution warehouses.

While with JAC, his clients included The City of Vancouver, Costco, Safeway and Brookfield Lepage Johnson Controls. For the award-winning Qualicum Landing beach front development, James oversaw the development, construction, sales, and marketing. His direct involvement helped win 14 Construction Achievements and Renovations of Excellence awards and three Georgie Awards, including the Grand Georgie Award for the Best Residential Community in British Columbia.

Dexter Wilkin

VP of Finance

Dexter Wilkin provides leadership over the accounting and finance departments at Western Canadian Properties Group. He brings a wide array of experience to the team, having worked at companies such as Ernst & Young (EY) and Amazon over the past 10 years. In the assurance practice at EY, Dexter demonstrated superior client service and led teams across a variety of engagements for Vancouver real estate companies. In his role at Amazon, Dexter was a product line controller with ownership of two product lines exceeding $50 million in annual revenues. Dexter holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honors from Queen’s University and is a CPA (BC), CPA.

Zach Ireland

Development Manager

Zach graduated from the University of Guelph’s B.Comm Real Estate and Housing program while simultaneously obtaining his Real Estate Sales License before working in pre-construction condominium sales. Zach brings those tools and skills to the planning side where he manages pre-construction development with WCPG. Zach oversees the planning and development of the 1015 East Hastings, Rise Apartments, and Summit on Second projects, working alongside organizations such as The Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre Society and BC Housing.
