Meet The WCPG Team

David Steele
PRESIDENT
Mr. Steele, from 1997-2001, was CEO of International Properties Group Ltd., a real estate company listed on the TSX which purchased apartment buildings and converted them to condominiums. While at IPG, Mr. Steele developed and operated a wealth management division which helped thousands of individual investors acquire over 85 projects and 7000 properties throughout North America and those investment properties continue to generate passive investment income today.
Mr. Steele has been actively involved in the growth of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), a nonprofit organization which now has over 7,500 members worldwide. In 1993/94, Mr. Steele served as EO’s International president.
Dave has a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in finance from the University of Calgary.

Jim Ferrie
VICE PRESIDENT – CONSTRUCTION
Mr. Ferrie was responsible for overseeing all aspects of development construction and sales and marketing for the 62 unit development at Qualicum Landing. Mr. Ferrie’s direct involvement with this project helped Qualicum Landing receive 3 Georgie Awards, including the Grand Georgie award, for the best Residential Community in B.C.
Other major projects that Mr. Ferrie has managed include a 100,000 square foot Safeway Distribution plant, a 17,000 square foot indoor soccer facility at Canlan Ice Sports, and the rink floor at the Abbotsford Entertainment Centre.

John Bean
CFO
As a general manager, John has increased revenues and profits and opened new markets. He has developed business plans, raised venture capital and negotiated deals with major corporations. Mr. Bean has led business development programs that resulted in multi-million dollar revenue streams. John has directed dozens of projects, which were completed on-time and on-budget.

Cynthia Aasen
Investment Revenue Realty Inc. Owner|Broker
As founder of Investment Revenue Realty, a brokerage focused exclusively on investment real estate, Cynthia has built a network of expert professionals dedicated to maximizing real estate returns, debt acceleration, and risk mitigation. As manager of the affiliate realtor program, she has developed a program to introduce realtors to brand new, investor friendly, cash flowing properties developed by Western Canadian Properties Group.
Acting as principal or agent, Cynthia has acted in over 600 multifamily transactions valued at over $105,000,000 across Canada.

Justin Smith
As a Financial Adviser with a major bank, Justin helped his clients navigate the turbulent markets of 2008, and looks forward to providing investors with the tools necessary to make sound real estate investment decisions in today’s intricate markets. Justin holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of British Columbia, a MBA Degree from Simon Fraser University, and is also fluent in Spanish.
